Purpose: Determine sync rules of Flash MX.

This test was created to determine the synchronization of Flash movie clips. Each movie clip consists of 10 digits in a sequence. The clip has been converted to a symbol and placed in a hierarchy. But each symbol plays half the time of the previous level in the hierarchy as shown on the timeline. Despite this, the movie clips appear to stay perfectly synchronized. So what is the algorithm?
