Audio Wide Band FIR Filter Design
We now repeat the filter design process creating a FIR filter instead of an IIR filter. We can use
this filter in audio applications. We know from previous work that the sampling rate of 33075 is
the best trade of high frequency response, and timely delivery of the FFT buffers. We want to
mask out artifacts between 0 and 100 Hz, and those above 10,000 Hz. This is an ambitious
design goal, because of the sharp cutoffs. Our parameter set looks like this:
